Working Mothers Network

Attention working moms! The Working Mothers Network provides a forum for you to meet other women who live and experience the same challenges and joys of being a working mom – just like you!
Our next meeting will be held at the Broadlands Community Center on September 13, 7pm - 9pm and our theme for the 2007-2008 season is “Maintaining Balance in Your Life”!
Each meeting runs from 7pm – 9pm on a Thursday evening, and follows a similar format: we open the meeting with a short networking session (including light snacks) and then we do a “get-to-know-you” activity. We then move to the key-note speaker or presenter for the evening who provides a participatory and engaging topic in-line with our season theme.

What working mother has the time to attend something called, "Maintaining Balance in Your Life" when they are busy working, taking care of kids, folding laundry, cleaning house, making dinner, writing bills, watching E! and Lifetime, baking cakes, taking the dog to the vet, shuttling the kids to soccer practice, picking up her prescriptions for anti-anxiety meds, polish off a bottle of 1996 vintage Vueve, taking the car in for warranty work, brushing their teeth properly, taking time out of their day to drop a stinking load, sleep and...............satisfying her spouse? -§
