Three Region Champs out of Ashburn? Best football in the State!

Stone Bridge has wrapped up their District title, and for all intents and purposes, so has Briar Woods. Broad Run will finish as co-champions with Div 6 powerhouses Battlefield and Osbourn in their first year at AAA in the Cedar Run District.

Pretty impressive, right?

Wait, it gets better. There doesn't appear to be a team in sight in AA that can knock off Briar. A second consecutive state championship is almost inevitable.

Stone Bridge, wheterh they finish 1st or 2nd as far as seeding goes in their Region, will be a prohibitive favorite to knock off Yorktown or whomever comes out of that region.

Even Broad Run, with 1600 students, looks like they might have a strong enough group to win the Northwest Region Division 5 title.

Ashburn Youth Football should feel pretty proud right about now.

Good luck to all of the local boys - stay safe, and make a couple of state runs this year!
