Giant crow-like birds sighted in burke

recently i have seen these giant crow-like birds around burke. they look JUST like crows, except they are twice the size. anyone have any information on what these are? and has anyone else seen them?

If they look like crows but are bigger, they're probably ravens. Both are big and black, but crows have a squared tail and ravens have a more curved beak.

A few months back, my wife and I saw 8 or 10 normal crows along with four huge crows. The big crows were more than twice the size of the normal crows. The big crows exhibited a strange behavior, in that they would spread their wings and stand or strut. It looked like a mating ritual. This sighting was in Opelika Alabama in December 2014. Has anyone else seen these huge crows?
