N. Spfld mega-houses

I grew up in N. Spfld in the 70's; the houses there were build late 50's. I go down "our" street once a year or so. The past 5-10 years they've buildt mega-houses throughout, a complete and unattractive contrast to the rambler homes. I don't oppose to updating a neighborhood, but come ON!

Luckily, I caught the owners of 'our' house putting lights up. On one side they demolished the house and put up a monstrosity that was for sale for over a year--twice. The current owner said the developer built 3-feet over into their yard. They were asked if they wanted it corrected, but the owners said it was done with. BUT as it turned out, the developer lost his license and was fined $100,000.

Wonder if it'll stop?!
