Lake Garda Italy & Lake Anna USA Twining Circle Pre-Proposal__New Initiative
River Twining has evolved as sub-genre of “Twining” projects from the European “Twin City” economic and social development among European nations post World War II .
Success Models at UK & Germany on River Twining are inspiring for all communities who seek to strengthen clean Rivers or Clean Lakes as a valuable natural resource past, present and future.
Question : Why Mount Vernon/Alexandria on USA Side ?
I became interesed in this lake in Italy due to some convesrations with others who have been to this lake resort near a university town , about the same size as Alexandria, VA with George Washingon cultural assets. Lake Anna is located near Fredricksburg, VA , near where George Washington grew up as a boy.
About Lake Garda : this This lake in Northern Italy is located in Northern Italy and is a a rustic resort location as well. There are two adjance cities near by , one of them is a university town similar to Alexandria, VA or Faifax City, VA .

Trento is the University Town near this Northern Italy Lake on the Alps.
This city is approximately the same size as Alexandria, VA or Fairfax City, VA.
with George Mason University. University group to University group "anchor" is a good fit often to get "River Twining" or "Lake Twining ITALY USA Going Forward with interested citizens, business, non-profits and local governments particiapting on creating the core group of people to help build friendship, peace, cultural and business trade exchanges as appropriate and of interest.

Community Twining really has worked with leadership from Germany mostly and even Evengland.
Question: How can we get "Community Twining" discussion going at Fairfax County VA with the philosophy of self help and mutual help[ based on Western Europe's success models ?
