Coyotes or big Foxes in Mclean

Has any one sighted coyotes or big size foxes in Mclean. We saw some paw prints in our backyard and they did not seem to come from a dog.

I have seen some very large foxes near McLean High School. I have seen Coyotes while hunting about 40 miles east of here but none in McLean yet. They are in Rock Creek Park, so they could be here. The deer population has exploded in FF County so it makes sense that Coyotes will follow. I would keep cats inside at night and small dogs in yard.

not the first time coyotes have appeared in mclean, when i was a kid in the early 90s there were a few running around that were eventually either driven off or exterminated. one of them killed a friend's pet rabbit. wouldn't surprise me if they were back, but bear in mind the tracks do look quite a bit like the tracks of certain dog breeds. it was possible it was just dog tracks
