McLean is not for young people

Of course McLean doesn't have public nightlife. McLean is the "bedroom" for the wealthy, so it has stayed quiet and peaceful on purpose. Only little kids usually keep their bedrooms decked out with toys and games. Hence why poorer surrounding areas generally have more entertainment. Basically when those in McLean wanna have fun, they will come to your poorer neighborhood, smash beer bottles in your front lawn, wake you up with their loud booming music, then go back to their quiet and peaceful untainted neighborhood. If you don't believe me just take note of how many cop cars you see in McLean versus, DC or Falls Church.
I never hang out in McLean, but if I had to hang out in an emergency, I'd go to the McLean Pub. Everyone who wants to just hang out and be with friends and chat goes there. It's the official young persons (but still above 18) place to go.
The Starbucks at the far end of McLean, close to Arlington is the one I hang out at the most (which is not to say that I hang out there all the time, but just that I would hang out there more if I had to). It's the double-decker Starbucks which is in its own little building, across from Pizza Hut.
If you're under 21 then McLean is definitely not for you.
