Reston area off south lakes drive (6/24/09)

Does anyone know what was going on last night? I heard the helicopter and saw tons of police activity. Kind of scary that i've heard nothing on the news yet.

Apparantly Reston houses an underground classified government-run maximum security prison and this was the second escape of the year. Maximum security and the government still can't run something right.

Didn't they used to house work-release prisoners at the Prison Fellowship House across from the Sycamore Apts? They used to frequently have coordinated helicopter and ground search teams around Lake Anne. I ran across them one night scouring the streets from Wiehle to LakeView.

I hear the Police Chopper nearly every night at times, but they only report a fraction of the events in the News and in their Official Releases.

Yeah they did, right across from the Old Brewery.
