El Grande on fire (formally Giant)

The "El Grande" super-market in yorktown was on fire when i drive past it this morning. Like 40 firetrucks and a shit load of cops. anyone else see it? i saw a dude filming it from accross the street.

My first job was at GIANT. It closed??? I Havent been back home since '00. I never thought they would close the GIANT.

Got a hold of the fire marshall's report on that place. IT was a front from illegal activities. Aparently, the owner had over $40,000 in cash in a safe in the back and that tipped off the fire marshalls to the potential for illegal activities. Aparently, the grocery store was a great way of laundering money. Too bad, cause some of the produce in there was good priced, almost too good. Guess this explains why.

So, what will it be? Went in late? No, maybe it was early? Do I have every Monday off that falls on an odd day ot the month? LOL. y-)
