What was the emergency at N. Beauregard this a.m.?

Does anyone know what was going on this morning at about 4:30am at the intersection of N. Beauregard St. and Morgan St.? I was going through there and N. Beauregard was totally blocked off by the police. There were emergency vehicles and flashing lights all over the place. No one was able to proceed through. What happened?

Some Amish people in town for sightseeing were tragically shot to death in a copycat incident.
