FFX Underground IP address display option

Hi - here is a thought:

Considering the quality of some posts in FFXU it seems to me that the logical approach would be to display the IP address (or a hashed version) of the poster.

It would certainly cut down on the crap since obtaining a new IP address is time consuming and draws attention to the individual's behavior by other parties monitoring the IP switching services.

Something to consider - while you are tweeking the new settings for FFXU~

Well you give up easily - and seem to know what you are talking about...

It seems that barracuda or spam haus could easily maintain a proxy server IP address range black list for online boards to use to block the undesirable creeps that use such services.

Why the hell would any administrator publicly display IP's on a public message board? If you don't like seeing some posts, then don't come back to the site. It's very simple.

Eesh as a moderator with that kind of power? That's like giving that Rabid Beaver a nuke!

Why not have everyone just register their name, address and telephone number? This would stop most/all of the BS, political crap and the kids on this forum. Wait! The underground may go underground about six feet.

it's not going to make that much difference there are apps that allows users to change IP address and get fake IP from different countries.
