Jiffy Lube is a rip-off. All they want to do is get you in the door so they can over charge you for stuff you don't need. Last time I took my truck to Jiffy Lube I told them to just change the oil and nothing else. The guy brought me my air filter which I had just replaced a couple of weeks earlier. He told me that it needed replacing. I told him it didn't. He hit it against his hand and got a small amount of dirt out of it and said that it had dirt in it and needed to be replaced, which he could do for $12.00. (I paid $4.00 for it at Advanced Auto) I informed him that the purpose of the air filter was to catch dirt and the fact that it had dirt in it meant that it was doing it's job, not that it needed replacing. I told him that I had just replaced it two weeks earlier. He left and came back 2 mins later with my PVC valve. Shaking it he said that he could hear a rattle in it so it was no good and for a inflated price that I don't remember he could replace it. I informed him that when you hear the rattle that meant that the PVC valve was working. That if it did not rattle that meant it was clogged. I followed him into the shop where I insisted that he finish my oil change while I watched and have not been back since. I have heard a number of other stories complaining about Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube is a bunch of theives. While you are at it you should grease the customers ass, that way they won't notice it as much while you were trying to fuck them.
