What is there to celebrate? Traffic, taxes, crime, chain restaurants?

Celebrate Fairfax is great. The food, the rides, the carnies missing teeth, the skanks with their tatted up boyfriends looking like the losers they are. Yeah, there's something for everyone at Celebrate Fairfax.

(Don't forget that the freaks and lowlife come out at night...leave by dinner time if you don't want to scar your children for life.)

I'll be there Saturday taking in the scenery, that's for sure.

How is it expensive? For $12 but you could have purchased tickets in advance for even less than the $10. So do not blame them. It was offered to you. Where else can you see world famous and tv star Flavor Flav for $12? Nough said.

Celebrate Fairfax sucks... If you're going to charge for rides, food, games, then don't charge for entry. Or charge for entry, but not for rides. For a family of 4 to go you're looking at at least $100 in admission, rides and food. Not to mention that once you get the food, you'll never find a place to sit and eat it - and then you wait 20 minutes for a 2 minute ride.

Such a waste.

Went last night, was alight, pretty much the same thing every year, but if you have nothing else to do, you can kill a couple of hours, same price as a movie ticket.

based on the pic from radiophile, it looks like we were right next to each other. of course, there was this douchebag in the front row giving folks (who had more important things to do than sit in the front row for two hours prior to the concert) shit for deciding to come down to the front of the stage right before showtime and pick up some prime viewing spots. yes...i'm talking to you, mr. db in the saints hat. i hope you enjoyed yourself. AND i hope your wife/gf/skank holds out on you because you were such an ass to the guy with his daughter on his shoulders.

After about the third time he came over screaming and having a fit, I just flipped him the bird and left. That was about her fourth song.

That same BS happened last year too. People arrived early for prime seats and then all the douchebags ran up in front blocking them so no one could sit down anymore. GAY.

I said it last year and I'll say it again, they need to move the seats up directly against the barracades so that can't happen and whomever gets front row, KEEPS the front row.

Fire Marshall would have a fit if they did that. There has to be aisles and walkways. The only way to stop that would be to have security keep people back, something they have shown no interest in doing.
