Thaw it out and cook it first of course. I was buying previously frozen Salmon for a long time. Why not the Eskimos and ate Salmon and they seem healthy enough. A lot of times fresh Salmon is up too eighteen dollars a pound and too expensive. Then I started buying previously frozen fish still frozen and unfreezingit my self. It's not hard just soak it about a half hour in cold water. The savings of buying frozen and thawing it your self are about half for about 6-7 dollars a pound while the store thawed Salmon are about $14.I'm going to guess that most restaurent fish is previously frozen.-Rod

or save even MORE money and go to a river/pond/stream and catch those fish yourself. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he feeds himself forever.

Frozen salmon is probably full of mercury. Too much mercury can lead to organ failure.
