InfoSec Career Goals in This Area

My goals are to obtain a Masters' in InfoSec and a CISSP. Does the cert trump the degree, or vice versa? What type of salary would I be looking at with both?

What if I had a TS / SCI on top of that, given I could find a sponsor? What's the salary range in this area for a package like that?

You need 5 years professional security experience to qualify for the CISSP, the Masters will allow you to waive one year of experience. The cert does not trump the degree or vice versa they complement each other you can do well with one or the other and better with both. Add on a clearance and you can do very well.
