Chris Cooley likely gone?
Posted by: brig owens ()

Despite all that shit that went down after Cooley got injured again last year. You know, those promises from Bruce Allen and Shannie that Cooley was still in the Dreadskins plans for the future. Now with this cap space fiasco and the amount of space cooley's salary takes along with reports that dreadskin's are hot and heavy in chasing a quality tight end in free agency. Well I'd say Cooley better not sign a long term lease on his bowl making shop in Leesburg. At least we won't have to endure Tanner anymore!

Thanks Mr. Cooley you had some fine years with some dreadful Redskins teams but time marches on.

Didn't Cooley say he would retire if he was ever released/traded?

It helps the Skins long-term to trade him now, they didn't lie. With his money and the smokin' hot cheerleader wife you don't need to feel too sad for him.

edit: I can spell, it just takes a few tries.

They were using Cooley as a Fullback. Of course he's gone.

Trade him while he has some value. They clearly need the cap space. Bwahahahahahaa

Cooley is done. He is too busted up and the TE position has changed. He will be on WJFK doing a radio show this time next year

Well he is about 1000x's more entertaining and well spoken than Lavar. Dukes/Cooley might not be bad.

I spoke of this yesterday. I say with the signing of Morgan and Garcon, We will say goodbye to Banks and Moss. Possibly may also say goodbye to Armstrong. I hate to lose him, but the fact is we may have to part with cooley to free up cap space.

Hes a d-bag and he sucks. Thinks he is elite but is always hurt. Dump him while he still has some value.

I'd prefer to see a restructure because he isn't worth what he would get paid this year. That also makes a trade improbable. It probably comes down to Moss or Gaffney and I think the Shanny's really like Gaffney, he's younger.

He's gone.

After that salary cap BS and putting the franchise tag on Fred Davis they can't afford to piss away any more money on the TE position.

Not forseeing the salary cap debacle and the signing of them wide outs( a good thing i say but adios santana although I think he saw writing on wall, good soldier) chris cooley is likely to stay

whatever cap space they got left has to go for offensive line help or a cornerback don't you think?

london fletcher might be gone?

isn't there a shortage of tight ends right now?
