Fairfax Towne movie theatres on death watch?

The ones off West Ox. I guess business is so bad at these theatres they no longer have any movie showings after 9p.m.

I actually think these theatres still ain't bad but I guess poor marketing has let business drift over to the Fairfax Corner theatres

The Fairfax Towne Center theatres are pretty damn old, like from the mid-late 80s I believe. It's also been kinda dirty the last few times I was there in the past few years. Times have changed, people want stadium seating and 3D IMAX theatres. If you ask me, it shoulda bit the dust years ago. Worldgate in Herndon and the old Multiplex Cinemas (now Rave Cinemas) in Centreville need to either update or go outta business as well.

Another factor is movies tend to suck more. I buy cheap tickets at costco, and at the end of the year I have left overs. That usually was not the case.

biff, actually they ain't bad on a Monday night about 3 weeks out in the theater. 10 people at the most, all quiet couples. Act of Valor was awesome :D

Eddie Humphrey movies have been dog shit for the last 20 years. The sound of the crickets chirping is probably the worst thing if you go see one.
