Basic Landscaping Question

Soo, its spring time n stuff, and I lawn is getting green slowly.

I did notice a few spots that are showing weak growth.

What do I buy to make it grow better?

Just fertilizer? Grass seeds AND fertilizer, or just extra grass seeds?

Thanks!

go to scotts.com Enter as much info you have about your lawn and they will recommend products and even send email's when it's time to tdo something.

I've used it for three years now and the lawn looks great.

Would you like a serious recommendation? Go to Betty's Azalea Ranch and ask for Steve (he hangs out in the back near the turf products). Steve is THE MAN when it comes to lawn care and will give you all the information you need and then some. You will probably find his recommendations cost a bit more than what you would pay at Home Depot and may seem confusing/overkill, but you will spend less in the long run with a lot less guesswork.

I have been using Betty's annual lawn care program for nearly 10 years and my lawn is healthy, weed and crabgrass free. My neighbors are always chasing this problem or that (grubs, fungus, burnout) while I cut it once a week and enjoy how nice it looks.

Mike Sorce, do your neighbors favor, and tell them...

Fungus is not a problem, and there is no getting rid of it permanently.

Theres millions of spores floating around in the air. Not to mention the bulk of the fungi's cell structure is underground.

your answer is to hire a lanscaping company to bring out a massive truck, 20 wet backs, 15 machines, and burn 35 gallons of gas for one tiny lawn. At least thats what the majority of these lazy liberals in the area do insted of hiring a local kid or cutting it themselves.
