The pool and bar room at the Lamb Center is very nice place to meet with lady.

in fairfax city arties is good. fairfax corner usually gets to crowded as does downtown and i assume you dont want to go to a dive bar

Fairfax city proper or fairfax county? If county, I would say Chef Geoffs in Tysons is pretty good, 34 oz glasses for about 20 different good on tap beers for 7 bucks and a big wine list for the lady. Good food options too, its crowded enough so its still a fun and energetic place, but open enough to be able to find a spot for 2 at a bar or get a table. Although on Fridays it gets packed.
