Nut Job Almost Killed My Family Not An Hour Ago

I was driving my family home today around 6:45ish, after taking them out for some Christmas Chinese in Burke. As we were making our way back home down Sydenstricker Road from Old Keene Mill, I noticed a cop flashin' his blues over in Rolling Valley Park, next to the Pohick library. Next thing I know this dark colored coupe comes flying out of the park's parking lot, nearly (and when I say nearly I mean maybe three to four feet) t-boning my car. What the fuck, guy? Of course the LEO also comes careening out of the park, in hot pursuit, but by this time I had made a full stop so as to not have to clean my family's guts out of my car.

My question is, has anyone heard anything on the scanner? I rushed home to listen to it, and I heard a mention of dispatch sending Fairfax One back on it's way. Can anyone fill in the blanks for me?

Saw blue lights at Lee Chapel and Burke Lake Rds.at about that time as I went to pick up my chinese food at Duk Wo @ Burke Lake Rd and Burke Rd.

They were in my rear-view mirror and too far back to see...

Precisely where we went tonight. Lo mein was fantastic, as usual. Anyhow, I could've sworn I saw the suspects pull right onto Old Keene towards Shiplett. Where the lights off down Old Keene, or did you see them at the intersection itself?

Duk Wo is the best!!! Had their Peking Duck and fried dumplings...


Anyways, I saw a newer Colorado (small Chevrolet p/u) w/ lights off at an intersection just before the police lights, but not sure if that's what you are thinking about. This would have been from Lee Chapel Rd., but easy to get to from Shiplett.
