The 10-6 Skins will get a Wild Card birth. They stand a good chance of making it to the 2nd round. The Giants or Panthers will be a tough match-up for the NFC Title. There is still a chance, though, they could make it to the Super-Bowl. If they do, they will get royally bitch-stomped by the Patriots or Colts (Hey, I'm still realistic).

This will be seen as a good year. Next year, when the Skins have a power runner and decent 2nd Wide Receiver, they will be SuperBowl-caliber.

Well I think by putting Lavar in and taking Holdman out, that was a great move, our run defense should be better and they need to take out Walt Harris cause that is the left side and thats where the other teams get the big plays

That's why he, and not "better quarterbacks" like Eli Manning and Chris Simms made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. In fact, Brunell won one more playoff game than Peyton Manning did this year.

Defense...overrated-

Apparently you didn't watch either the Seattle or Tampa Bay games, because the Defense kicked ass.

The Redskins lost because too many key players were injured or playing injured. Gibbs also needs to spend the off-season opening up the passing game by getting a better 2nd WR than Patten. A better backup RB would also be good. Betts is okay on short yardage, but Cartwright really didn't contribute much of anything except a fumble this season.

Undoubtedly there will be pressure on Gibbs to replace Brunell in the offseason, which would be wrong. While Brunell had some bad games, he also had some spectacularly good games. Gibbs is a conservative play-caller, for sure. But you don't end up in Canton and with three SuperBowl rings by not knowing what you are doing.

Betts is just as good as Portis, he will probably leave when ever his contract is up.

Betts is not as good as Portis. Portis was ranked in the Top 5 this year.

As I recall, the Seahawks running game wasn't very good, either.

I think there will be some consistency under Gibbs. Look at who Gibbs got rid of last year - Fred "Love Boat" Smoot, Rod "Cut from Carolina" Gardner. Gibbs got rid of the dead weight. Chances are he will get rid of Levar this off-season and, hopefully, Patten. Arrington is a great player, but if he is intent on becoming a cancer to the team, ala T.O., who the hell needs him? There are plenty of good linebackers in the pros.
