Music Venues in FFC (Or a lack thereof)

Other than Jammin' Java, are there any places that frequently host live music? There are a few bars, but otherwise are the music lovers in this huge county confined to such dreadfully limited selection.

Also, no latin music.

Haha, they should! Sadly, as a musician I have played in smaller venues.

What if I just pooped in your mouth? Then layed eggs in your chest cavity? And gnawed on your brainstem? Wouldn't that be the best?

Old Brogue Great Falls

Potbelly sandwhich shop in Fairfax Corner. I think the Potbelly in Reston Town Center also has live music.
Dogwood Tavern in Falls Church.
Fast Eddie's bar in Fairfax City and Centreville have the occasional band on weekends
Old Firestation Grill in Fairfax City has bands but not as many as they us too.

Fat Tuesdays in University Shopping Center on Braddock road

I think its called Maplewood Grill in Vienna next to Fresh Market grocery store has a piano bar

The Soundry in Vienna and Epicure Cafe in Fairfax both do open mic type deals pretty frequently.

Never been there, but Telegraph Station has local bands sometimes.

If you haven't been to State Theater would definitely recommend, as someone mentioned above.

Pat Troys also has live Irish music.

I've also heard the occasional skin flute is played at Kilroys, but the accoustics in the bathroom are terrible.
