Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
It won't be that expensive. The risk of injury from climbing and felling the tree no longer exists, and the tree itself already pulled out the stump. It'll take one man, one chainsaw, and one day. Plus a woodchipper or hauling, if desired.
The problem with cutting fallen trees is the tendency of limbs you are not working on, to shift or spring when unloaded.
I had a couple big trees fall on my property, many of the limbs shove right in the ground 2 -3 feet, and are spring loaded against other limbs, waiting to take a leg off.
