The school paper at Annandale broke the story that their head boys basketball coach Anthony Harper quit effective immediately, citing that he needs to take responsiblity for his actions. What's the real story as to what he did?

If you were a kid toucher, wouldn't you try to disguise yourself after you'd been convicted? Jeez, just how dumb are you?

This school is a nightmare.

Let's see a few years' back a female basketball coach gets drunk at a team dinner.

I guess it is a free for all at this school.

When kids get drunk, they get kicked off their teams.

When coaches get drunk---they get promoted to AD jobs at other high schools.

Annandale is one of the top schools in the US. Learn the facts before you speak. Speculation does nothing but harm. This coach is also a teacher. If he was a "kid toucher" he would have been dismissed from teaching and arrested. Did you consider that possibly a personal situation requires his time. Why automatically jump to negative conclusions.

Harper's a good coach, man. He's done nothing but make the regions every year he's been there - and they went to the states last year. My wild guess - - - obviously it's nothing illegal and it doesn't sound like a VHSL rules violation. But perhaps it was something unethical, inappropriate - like, say, having a relationship with a female coed at the school who is of legal age? Like I said, just a wild guess at what it could be. Who knows? Too bad for Annandale, though.

Yeah...you're right...it's not like coaches that are kid touchers is becoming a problem in this country. Oh right...they were COLLEGE coaches. Ampfernee Harper is a high school coach. And if you think this child molesting thing stops with Fine and Sandusky...stick around, cupcake.

As a student at Annandale I can tell you he's not a kid toucher. But he did get drunk in public and got arrested for it, He was also caught with a firearm.
