VEHICLE FIRE

There was a VEHICLE FIRE on I-95 North towards 395 and 495 around 6:30am.

Vehicle, small white car,
UP IN FLAMES;
Appeared all passengers, driver,
got out.

ANYONE know further details of this?

This would only be noteworthy if the occupants did NOT get out.

It happens every fucking day. Surprised it doesn't happen more often because almost all cars on the road have fuel injection. This requires very high fuel pressures. A hose or fitting fails and gas is sprayed all over a hot engine and POOF. That's all it takes.
