Anyone ever met/seen Jim Weaver live?
Posted by: Embarrassed Hokie ()

WJFK, 106.7, seems to have the Va Tech athletic director Jim Weaver doing semi-live interviews every week during evening commute hours. He sounds braindamaged. Does anyone know if he's really as retarded as he sounds? Was he a boxer, ala Muhammed Ali, and got his head hit too many times? I've met comatose Downs-Syndrome folks who sound more together than him. How on earth did he land the job?

Imagine him being interviewed by Diane Rehm. Talk about a painful listening experience! Ouch!

He has to talk that way. Most Hokie fans wouldn't understand him if sped up his delivery. In fact, Hokie fans are moving their lips as they read this post.

As a young child he was abused by a older family member. It seems they stuck it in too far, and scratched his brain.

LOL. Yeah it's really tough to get accepted to a school with a 67% acceptance rate!

Don't worry, I received a stellar world class education at a well known school that doesn't need to point to a mediocre football program for some sort of validation.

Football envy? No, not so much. Like I said, I don't need a mediocre football team to make me feel better for attending a school that accepts 67% of applicants.

GMU? You are proving with every post how stupid VT grads are. I said well known school that provides a world class education. When I mentioned this, GMU went to your mind? That sure says something about the academic quality at VT! Case closed!

I've heard Michael J. Fox speak live and he supposedly went off meds temporarily to demonstrate the difficulty of living with Parkinson's. Weaver's ability to control his speech might have been compromised at the time of firing Seth Greenberg as he seemed visibly upset.

Casey Kasem, a Detroit native, has advanced Parkinson's and speech loss, daughter claims

Casey Kasem, 81, was the host of the Top 40 countdown radio show "American Top 40" and the voice of Shaggy in the Saturday morning cartoon franchise "Scooby-Doo."

You're crazy pal. VT has been to a national championship game. Yes, we lost, but we are competitive every year. No VT grads are ashamed of that. VT is a very good school. People who graduate get good jobs. I don't know where you went or where you're from, but I grew up here, moved back here. I make good money. My wife went to Mason, she makes really good money. We both love what we do. Easy to throw shots like a little pussy behind a keyboard. So yeah, case closet bitch.
