Last night around 6:15pm on 28 north near the Air/Space Museum, an unmarked black Mustang had someone pulled over. There was someone in the passenger seat of the Mustang filming the traffic stop with a huge professional camera. Anyone know what's up with that? I called two different people at the FFX police dept and they were of no help.

That section of rt 28 is area 800 of the Fairfax County Police Fair Oaks district station. I'd call them before anyone else:

Fairfax PD also has a similarly-painted unmarked SUV (Nissan, maybe?) I saw lurking around the outskirts of Alexandria. It's unmarked, but such a high gloss black that you can see it from a mile away.

I really need to remind myself of this. These fuckers will be giving out more Reckless Driving tickets for anything and everything they can with this initiative.

Answerman, thanks, but those were the exact two 'people' I called previously: the PIO and the Fair Oaks dept. They were clueless. Perhaps I spoke to the wrong person...

Thanks to the person that posted the WTOP link!!! That explains a lot. I suspect the camera was a local news channel getting footage for a story on this crackdown.

I took a pic of it, on route 50 yesterday around 6pm.

You meant to state you are a posser fake cop, rental cop want a be, get a life dickhead!

I have now seen a black mustang, a black challenger, a black escalade, and now a red mustang cobra on 28 that were all undercover cars. Supposed to be part of this crack down on aggressive driving but more like entrapment probably enticing people to race.

Anyone who can be "enticed" into racing deserves a ticket.

I wouldn't race those pigs... I would just give them the bird.

There is also a 2010 Mustang GT I see early every morning, Gloss Black but this one has a POLICE INTERCEPTER plaque on the left rear trunk lid. And this one is full on GT. It passed me chasing an Acura and the Acura didn't have a chance. FFX is getting like Nevada & Florida.

I saw a minivan with lights with a car pulled over on 50 in Chantilly....
