I've been a regular on City-Data's Norther Virginia (CDNV) forum (http://www.city-data.com/forum/northern-virginia/) for the last five years but I chanced upon Fairfax Underground only a few months ago. I always thought CDNV was the best but as I kept reading FFXU, the stark differences are obvious.
FFXU does not have any of the high 'n mighty, judgmental, hoity-toity and pretentious posters from CDNV. The FFXU posters are practical, street-smart, down-to-earth and absolute dick heads! I am happy to have found FFXU.

It's a real estate site so the bias tends toward the self-interests of homeowners, people who hope to sell, and agents who hope to get business.

Yes, CDNV is heavily moderated. You can't use the words like fuck, pussy, cunt, dick, vagina, boobies, gonads, ass-whip, asshole, tits, blowjob, pee-pot, breasts, penis, or cum. Not that I would ever want to use them in a public forum, but i like to know what my options are! Just sayin'
