Well, it's hard to complain, seeing as so many other places are faring so much worse than we are, but the Sweet Spot is definitely dealing with some icebox-like temps today. It was 25 degrees when I got up this morning, and the mid 30's is about all we can expect to see for a high today. We'll likely be dealing with winds of 8-10 mph over much of the day as well, so it's just goping to be cold out there. Still have one more dose of prime rib and good old house made horseradish sauce waiting in the fridge, and maybe a last helping of loaded mashed potatoes, though the wife might have finished those off with her reheated ribeye last night. Pretty sure she knocked out the last of the carrot cake as well, but there will be some ooey-gooey chocolate cake still on standby for sure.

In less happy matters, some of these alt-right Capitol rioters are making court appearances now, and many of them are hanging their hats on the excuse that President Ding Ding told them to do it.
