It's small but a one of the few stores around here. They have cheap transfers, and even thought VA arms has a much bigger selection Herndon is a lot closer for me than Manassas.

Yes, it's called NOVA Armament. It's very small. I prefer Guns & Ammo and VA Arms in Manassas.

Cheap transfers, guys are friendly and know their stuff. Small showroom but they can order most anything and have the best glock prices out there.

Glad they are here.

They also host classes. Took the Utah class a few weeks ago. Cheapest around or close to it.

They also have fair ammo prices. Would prefer to buy from there then Blue Ridge Arsenal. Worth going over and taking a look. They are knowledgeable, friendly and can order what they don't have at a good price. 10MM, the Utah class is the way to go. I've had my Utah license as well as my VA CWP for a little over a year now. The Utah license is a good one to have if you do a lot of traveling out of state.

How much was the Utah class? I have my VA CWP and that covers about 20 or so sates now but it would be nice to have more.

Went by NOVA Armament today. When they say it's a small store, ITS A REALLY SMALL STORE. It also shares it's main entrance with a hair salon which made things a little confusing at first. While the storefront is small, it's very clean and organized and both the workers there were very courteous and professional.

The prices weren't terrible, but they weren't the best. I mostly was looking at guns and Virginia Arms had them beat on most of the prices by a small margin.

That being said, I'd definitely use NOVA Armament for FFL Transfers. You cannot beat their $25 flat fee. Last time I had it that good was a kitchen FFL in PA that only charged me $20.

Fuck that. I usually go here:

super srs, though, I would like to get back into shooting. The location on this place is fantastic - eat at Zeferrelli's, go buy a gun at NoVA Armament!

Do you guys offer any classes? My experience is spotty and I'd like to start from scratch again. All I've done is a riflery class at my old alum and some occasional shooting with friends.

MOFO,

My apologies for the delayed response. Here is a link to find a Utah class locally. It runs about $85 for the class itself.

http://proactiveshooters.com/general-course-information-2/utah-concealed-firearm-permit-class/

They do host local classes but do your research. These are not the only Utah classes offered in Northern Virginia. If my memory serves me correctly, i believe the Utah concealed hangun license with a VA CWP will allow you to carry in 33 states. Hope this helps.

"Do you guys offer any classes?"
We offer NRA Basic Pistol, and First Steps along with the Utah Concealed Handgun course. Please stop by, give us a call, or an E-mail at: www.novaarmament.com and we can set something up. NRA classes are held every Saturday with spots limited to 4 people for maximum instruction retention. The UT classes are currently held once a month or so.

This store has cool employees and a decent firearms selection. Guns and Ammo has great guns and crappy service.

I don't often post stuff online, but I thought I would chime in here. Nova Armament is a small store located in Herndon, VA. I have to agree with the other posts, great prices on Glocks and cheap FFL transfers. If you do five transfers, the sixth one is free (with their transfer card)!! Their website makes the transfer process very easy by giving you a form to fill out. They send their FFL in less than 24 hours.

The shop staff are very courteous and helpful.....unlike some of the other gun stores around Northern VA. Especially the one with Blue in its name.

Guns & Ammo Warehouse in Manassas is my favorite NOVA gun store.

NOVA Armament = A+++

I have to echo Barney's earlier comments. There are other stores in the Manassas area, but I stopped going to them for a number of reasons, all service related.

Good selection, great staff. Wonderful store all around. I bought a springer a few months ago from them and plan to buy my next rife from them.

They say on phone price is not firm on the display case tags- which are all over MSRP(way over)then you get there and they are nasty when you try to make a deal. Walked in with $600 cash and walked out with $600 cash. Didn't help to hear the Asian worker using the F word on the phone to unhappy costumer. Save you time and skip even going to this place.

Other than to buy something like ammunition so I could plink more, I do not understand the need or even desire to regularly visit a gun shop.

Ya go there, buy a gun or two, and that's it.

Thenceforward what's the attraction?

Does the Herndon store carry a line of machetes for our most recently arrived citizens?

Spent a lot of time there picking out a handgun. The staff were all super friendly and patient. Prices were pretty good - as good as I could find on Internet after shipping/transfer fees. Would recommend they without question.

Have you tried Virginia Arms? It's easily the best place to buy firearms in Virginia.

Blessed are the murderous.
