Giant Alligator Snapping Turtle Found in Fairfax, VA

Say hello to Lord Fairfax. It's an alligator snapping turtle, weighing 65 pounds. The creature was found roaming a neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia.

So who does this turtle remind you of?

That’s scary as fuck. How the hell did it get this far north? Regular snapping turtles cannot actually bite a finger off but one of those suckers can. No more swimming in lakes for me south of the mason dixon!

Intercoastal waterway. You can get from Florida to Maryland. Some of it is not navigatable by larger boats, but a turtle could definetly do it.
