Brions Grille

Located at University Mall. Everytime I go there it is packed and a long wait for a table. Is the food there that good or is it just a Mason hangout?
I get tired of waiting and just head down the street to Outback or somewhere else.

I like the food there and they have an excellent happy hour. try it when GMU is on break and it won't be so crowded. I really like their ribs and their burgers are good too.

The food is great and it is a popular Mason gathering place. They do have great happy hour specials. Tuesday night is half-price burger night, where you can get a great burger for like $4. It's usually packed to the brim on Tuesdays, and I try to get there as early as I can. The bartenders are all goregous and very friendly.

I'm not sure if they still have it, but on Fridays and Saturdays they had the best prime rib in town. Awesome lunch buffet on weekdays as well.

Though I'm a red-meat and potatos kind of guy, I highly recommend the Scottsdale Salad.

Brion's food is good, not great, but there are worse places to drop a dime for dinner. The lunch buffet is probably the best deal there and the prime rib is decent. However, it is not that much less expensive than Artie's which is 1000% better than Brion's. Would I wait an hour for dinner at Brion's? Probably not, but I agree that the bartenders are attractive. Brion's and Red, Hot & Blue seem to have a lot of regulars at the bar which can be a plus or minus.

Closing down due to the impending opening of an Arthur Treacher's right across from the movie theater. Can't compete with that amazing, fresh fish and cole slaw. No Fanta at Brion's, either.
