They all suck!

I commute to rockville every day for 25 years now. We endured three years of construction. I am not paying $9 to get from Braddock to the bridge. And, then, it is a bumper to bumper. I am not a traffic engineer but I knew 6 lanes to four on the bridge would slow it all down. At nights it's backed up to Tyson's like it would only happen om Holiday commutes. But, now it's EVERY night. My commute home is at least $15 every night to come back.

The toll into DC some mornings is $45.

The only area toll RD that works is the ICC in MD. Never more than $2.50 and it cuts across from a major highway to another. It works.

Biggest problem is Tysons. They keep building and have not changed to two exits our off roads. It gets worse every year. The Silver line was going to solve it. Bullshit. It made it worse from drivers.

What you are not told is that your tax dollars are used to help maintain the express lanes instead of Transurban doing it all. 1.5 million is spent every year just for snow removal. The express lanes get a higher priority then the regular lanes. Also, all drainage issues are covered by your tax dollars too. Thank Tim Kaine for this great idea. Democrats thanks

People will start negotiating tolls when talking to potential employers. When it costs you two hours of wages every day to get to work it is starting to get to the point that the job isn't worth it.

You guys miss the whole point of why these toll roads are built. It’s not to make your life easier, make your commute faster, cut down on emissions or any of those things. It’s to get you to pay again for what your tax dollars already are supposedly paying for— to build roads. More money for the state is always the underlying motive for whatever government does. Foolish mortals

Exactly. Instead of cutting back on spending like every responsible person should do in order to manage their budget, they sell us out to an international company in a very bad deal for Virginia and a steal for the company. Embarrassing and pathetic. Virginia politicians sacrifice their constituency for their political career in every vote they make.
