Best spot to watch 4th of July Fireworks?

Need to find a spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks with the family. It needs to be close to Metro or Bus Line as we choose not to drive, and it needs to be free of "Flag Waving Nazis"

Educated responses welcome.

Here's the only educated response you're going to get.

Anybody giving up the best spot to watch 4th of July fireworks to a random anonymous dude on the web isn't educated.

Who exactly are the flag waving nazis you are trying to avoid? What do they look like?

Generally they are wearing those dog whistle red hats.

I was confused. People who love America would have the flag waving...conservatives. But the Nazi part I was thinking was like the red hen lady that refused to allow that woman and her family to eat there because of who she was...like the Nazis did to the Jews. She is a liberal.

So it sounds like you would be a liberal.

So my other question...if you want to avoid people that love America - why are you going out there and what are you celebrating?

It sounds like you might be confused too. Are you going to have a protest?

Not my neighborhood. Due to the heavy tree cover, even sparklers are not allowed here.
