Martin Tripp admitts to Wash Post "he is not a programmer". But at Tesla manufacturing floor he tampered with the plant's manufacturing software after having uploaded gigabytes of sensitive information to COMPETITORS. That's not in question: Tripp admits doing it.
In the post Tripp says "he doesn't care about source code" and that Musk is seeking vengeance upon him for no reason. The employee claims he's not guilty of industrial espionage and not guilty of industrial sabotage / terrorism.

BREAKING NEWS: Amazon refuses to use Pay Pal (Elon Musk's company) and is publishing Tripp's rediculous excuses "I don't care" (matching Trump's wife's recent public dare).

Bezos is obviously using the Washington Post to attack his peers who he's willing to lie about. He's also harboring a fugative of the law, if Elon Musk's accusation of espionage and sabotage are true, Bezos could be serving prison time for it.

The Wash Post published Martin Tripp claims he never tampered with software and didn't transmit the software to china.
But the Wash Post is extremely liberal: it hires illegal aliens and continually bashes Trump and republicans, continually fosters pro-illegal pro-asian/mexican literature - any literature except what bolster's the USA.
There's zero trust in a fake news agency, and Wash Post has beeen toe to toe with CNN in every news release.

What bother's me about Bezos is his pro-asian ties.
He intently makes it impossible to find "MADE IN USA" products. He allows asians to flood channels of looking for USA products with asian trash ads (cell phone cover ads which contain any and all search terms)
This was fine years ago. But the time for Bezos to admit he's got deals with China to deter USA purchases is long past. He's in bed with China.
Ebay makes shopping USA a little easier: but also difficult. On ebay one can see where a product SHIPPS FROM immediately before opening an add. But determining if the product is USA made and or Union made: still a big game.
Walmart has begun showing a legal disclaimer that "Made in USA" labels on their products DO NOT mean a product is made in usa and walmart "is not responsible"

Personally I find it extremely hard to believe Elon Musk (and his lawyers) would single out a floor worker for retribution in the national news.
The ex-employee was not Musks's girl friend or something. The idea Musk stalks employees using national media is absolutely ridiculous.
The employee never gave any motive for Musk to do so. If musk were seeking vengeance: what was he seeking vengeance for. If elon himself had tampered with code and transmitted code to china: why would elon have done so?
The employee claims the company is vindictive and lying about the whole thing but he and wash post offer NOT EVEN A SCENARIO in which the company might profit from such a frivolous lawsuit of serious nature against a minor employee.
