Look more like a line drawn by someone dreaming vs. anything official.

Ben Brenman Park, isn't that the site of the former Cameraon Station military post? I seem to recall going to the doctor as a kid, then going to a park near a pond, which was on post. The commissary, too. I thought it was near Duke Street, but this was in the 70s, and my memory is foggy

Yup...just a red line drawn on a map by the OP. Nothing on the Alexandria website about such a proposal.

At the same time? Well played, OP. I don't know what the engineering or environmental or financial challenges are but, this should be investigated further.

which is why President Trump has to direct money toward republicans in a landslide manner

BECAUSE DEMOCRATS ARE DOING IT STILL

Obama.gov spent $11 trillion directing it toward making powerful democrat counties and states that get away with "any study" and "any construction".

that's a hellish hill to take - to refund republicans who are being stalked while democrats are being pushed forward doing, often, phony works

OBVIOUSLY DEMOCRATS ARE GOING TO DUE LONG STUDIES AND HUGE PROJECTS USING OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY

it's called: debt

the problem is it can easily be confused with "progress"

it's the amount borrowed that's hard to see here, whether they are "creating jobs for illegal aliens" or "actually doing their job"

----------------------------------

HOW MUCH DID THEY BORROW AND WHAT'S THE 1970'S PRICE OF DOING THE SAME PROJECT?

it's a difficult question to answer: and it's why New Jersey's mob criminals are into muni projects. it's because ALLOT of money can go out the door and be falsely legitimized while keeping corrupt people in power

the other difficult thing to see is "reason"

VA used to build roads only that "were very needed". for example: VA refused highways in reston (thus the toll)

DOES THIS BUILD benefit certain properties? was it for traffic jams? were the people in the traffic jam illegal aliens not paying taxes, or working people owed a road way?

these are very critical questions

the project can be an ear mark for democrats, or reduce traffic for workers - and the difference are hard to pin down

the "studies" are done by guess who? family and friends of fairfax county government supervisors. infact some families are known to be in these multi-million dollar studies NOT BY QUALIFICATION: BY NEPATISM - MEANING CHILDREN OF THOSE DOING STUDIES ARE ALSO BING PAID FOR DOING NEW STUDIES

Now back to reality ...

(1) You only borrow money if your making money.

(2) You don't borrow more money you can't pay back unless the lender.

road projects do neither of these

road projects should FOLLOW profitable activity, not be an added cost of a welfare state
