Cleaning under sons bed and found this dead spider. I obviously zoomed in but regardless, it was pretty large. Curled up and dead about the size of a silver dollar. Any idea what it is?

Looks like a dead wolf spider to me.
I've been bit in my home before. No worries, it won't kill you.
They are pretty creepy, but overall they are harmless.
Kill them with a shoe.
I had one hiding in a shirt in my closet. I never actually saw it, but when I put the shirt on, it felt like something burned my arm.
Later I saw the fang marks, redness and inflammation and it was very itchy.
No medication attention sought. The itch went away after a few days.
Creepy as heck aren't they?
Anytime I see one in motion, I immediately get goose bumps.
They like basements and will seek out cluttered areas in which to hide, so the tidier, the less likely to be surprised by one.

Makes perfect sense why it was in my teenagers room then... Unbelievable the amount of crap he can shove under it (note to self, when I say clean your room, I need to clarify that doesn't mean shove everything under your bed).
