Does anyone know if you can call where they filmed The Blair Witch?

Horror fans and camping enthusiasts...do you guys know if they allow you to camp in the black hills forest of Maryland? Just curious if anyone has tried to camp out there where they filmed The Blair Witch.

Burkittsville gained uninvited attention with the 1999 release of the film The Blair Witch Project and the franchise it spawned. "The poor town of Burkittsville suddenly found itself overrun with Blair Witch groupies, wandering around in the woods, trying to find the 'real' places where the story had happened."[9] Contrary to popular belief, however, the majority of the film was not filmed in Burkittsville, but in Maryland's Seneca Creek State Park, about 25 miles (40 km) away,[10][11] and the events depicted in the film and the legend of the Blair Witch itself are false.[12] Furthermore, other potentially identifiable landmarks from the Blair Witch story - Coffin Rock, the Black Hills, Black Rock Road, and the local convenience store - are not located in the real Burkittsville or the immediate surrounding area.

Didn't look like they have camping here http://dnr.maryland.gov/publiclands/Pages/central/seneca.aspx

There is no "Black Hills" forest. The majority of the movie was shot in Seneca Creek State Park in Montgomery County Maryland.

There is no "coffin Rock" and other landmarks referenced in the film. There is an old abandoned Black Rock Mill.

Interesting...there's gotta be spots off the beaten path that don't require you to pay a fee or check in with park rangers

My friend grew up in the Burkitt Family home. He told how crazy it was to see all the campers out there after the movie aired.
