Looks like someone came in and wanted the couple dead for some reason .. is the suspect the other person who is in serious condition at the hospital?

DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING DOUBLE MURDER IN RESTON
DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING DOUBLE MURDER IN RESTON
Fair Oaks Police District – Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened around 5 am in the 2600 block of Black Fir Court in Reston. Our preliminary investigation revealed three people were shot. Two were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as 48-year-old Scott Fricker and his wife, Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, 43. The third person was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Several others who were inside the home at the time were not injured. Interviews are underway to determine the relationships between those involved, and what may have led to this shooting. Our Victim Services Section is working to provide support and resources to those involved.

The daughter's boyfriend was a Nazi supporter and the mother found out about it and forbid the daughter to see the boyfriend. News is reporting the 3rd person injured is a 17 year old boy. My guess is the bf shot the parents and then turned the gun on himself.

I don’t live too far from them. It’s a great area. While I didn’t know them, I’m familiar w/the house they recently bought (I knew previous owners) & for all intents and purposes, they seemed like a nice addition to the neighborhood. The rumors that are circulating around here are that the parents didn’t approve of the daughter Amdlia’s BF. They didn’t agree w/his ideology & they didn’t like the hold that he had over their daughter. My guess is either it all came to a head on Friday early AM &/or he was discovered spending the nite @ the house. All I know for sure is that there was a massive police presence there all Friday. In the AM I heard lots of traffic coming up the road; a ton of tape is still up. Animal

Anti-white and anti-American. If you have white boys in middle school, watch their Civic classes. The students are so impressionable at this age. They believe what they are being taught. One odd thing about this is that a kid from Lorton and one from Reston would be attending the same unnamed private school in Fairfax County. Not very practical from a transportation standpoint at least, and there are only a few such schools in the county. Also, you would think that their friends would have this all over twitter (and on this board) but that doesn't seem to be the case.
As another poster mentioned, if he is charged as an adult, more information will come forth. But for now it seems odd that these two even knew each other, let alone wound up together in her room at 5 am on a weekday.

Search warrants obtained by NBC Washington reveal new details in the Dec. 22 confrontation between the 17-year-old from Lorton and 48-year-old Scott Fricker and his wife, 43-year-old Buckley Kuhn-Fricker. The boy, who shot himself but survived, has been charged with two counts of murder for the deaths of his girlfriend’s parents.
His name has not been released because he is a juvenile.
The Frickers opposed the boy’s relationship with their teen daughter, the documents state, and had recently told her to break off their relationship.
Family and friends said the couple had found a Twitter account they believed to be linked to the boy. Friends said the account retweeted posts praising Hitler and making derogatory comments about Jews, The Associated Press previously reported.
And last fall, he was accused of mowing a swastika into the grass of a community field. Residents spoke with the boy’s parents rather than reporting the vandalism to police.
According to the search warrants, the Frickers and the teen boy were seen arguing early in the morning before the confrontation turned violent. By the time police arrived however, the couple was dead. All three suffered injuries to the upper body.
Four other people were in the home at the time but were not injured.
Fairfax County police recovered a hammer, knife, gun and 10 spent cartridge cases from the home on Black Fir Court. They found a “projectile” in a hole in a hallway and another on an office floor. Fragments were found in a ceiling, according to the search warrants.
Police also took samples from what appeared to be blood stains — described as red stains — found on a bedroom wall, a door, stairs, on an office floor and along a hallway.
Investigators also took two cellphones and an Amazon Alexa from the home.
The documents also state that the teen boy was a juvenile defender but do not describe what crimes he had previously committed. However police had his address on file from “prior investigations.”
Police also searched the boy’s home looking for any records related to his relationship to his girlfriend and his mental state. Police recovered parts for guns, a box of ammunition plus a Kindle and an empty box for an iPhone.

In Virginia, minors have to go through juvenile court and then be formally transferred to the adult court. This guy will certainly be charged as an adult, it just has to go through this process first.

Since he is a juvenile, prelim hearing gets held in JDR, and then the case is certified to the Circuit Court.
