Anyone else get those annoying calls from Cathy from the carpet cleaning company? It's recorded and she fucking sounds like Diane Rehm. Is this company even legit?

You can check their legality asking them to show you some documents. When I was in Stockholm I used the service of this cleaning company https://www.xn--flyttstdningistockholm-64b.nu/ and I was sure that they are legal because they have all things for prooving it.

I too get calls from Cathy. I block ‘her’ number but soon enough she just calls back from a different one. It’s just annoying spam.

I don't buy ANYTHING unsolicited, especially over the phone with a cold call.

I just don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. Problem solved...

I get the same Cathy From Your Carpet Cleaning Company crap calls as well.

And also I have never had some unpleasant moments like yours. You need to choose proven guys the next time.

Room413 is just a seller of leads to fly by night / craigslist day labor types.
I use a local guy for carpet & furniture cleaning and have for years. He has been doing it for 25 years and grew up in that type of business. Has never failed me in over 10 years and is very polite. Some of these service types aren't and they send people that are dirty, smell and often don't speak English.

My guy is in Springfield but comes to my place in Reston with no complaint.

YES! It's not legit. I talked to some carpet cleaner and they told me about them and how they scam people. My wife intended to hire them once, they said they'll be here the next day in the morning. We waited for them like 3 hours so that they'd call us and make up an excuse for not coming. We were super angry about this, but my kinder wife told me to give them another chance. One week later, they did the same thing :) I don't know what's with them, but we stopped calling. After they started calling us recommending different services. We blocked them.
