Good college bars around here?

I've got a friend coming to town next week from CA (my old college roomate) and I would like to show him a good time locally. Auld shebideen and buffallo wing universiy have been so so in the past. Though auld does get cracking with the second dance floor. I'm sure there are other "Mason bars" I don' know about. Are there any super sleazy bars around (maybe woodbridge manassas area)? that would be fun to go to? Thanks.

I went to a place in centreville the other night called red rocks, and it was just a seedy, smokey shithole. Sounds exactly like what you want.

Fat Tuesdays < in the university mall...

Jimmy's Old Towne Tavern: Herndon Spring st & Elden

red rcoks is decent, but no college scene just drunk Cville locals.

Auld Shebene is good , but you already mentioned that.

PJ Skidoos - fairfax city , lots of drinks specials and a big gmu crowd.

or if your looking for an even better selection head on down to Clarendon in Arlington , Lots of bars all in walking distance and accessible from the metro
Whitlows and Clarendon Grill to name a few..and the girls are better too... :-)

Wow hey thanks for that bit of wisdom. But seeing as there is a college in this town and we live here it's easier than going up to DC all the time. A lot of DC students live in Alexandria/Arlington->(nova) but I'm sure you knew that.
