Any good places to watch for flash floods? Maybe near a bike trail?

From flash flooding in the fall of 2011:

* Reston South Park and Ride. Dozens of cars were submerged in that lot.
* Near Fair Oaks Mall, cannot remember the exact spot, but it may have been on Route 50 outside the mall.

Check https://fairfaxcountyemergency.wordpress.com/ for past postings where roads in the county flooded.

The little league fields on picket road. The creek floods the parking lot and it's fun to drive the jeep through. See you there. I'll have my tow strap with me to pull you out if your ride dies in the 2' + high water! If you are a Trumptard it will cost you 50 bucks if you are a patriotic democrat I'll pull you out for free while the Trumptards tread water and watch.

There is a foot bridge at the North end of the town of Occoquan that goes over the Occoquan river, just downstream from the second dam.

This was when Accotink Creek flooded after Tropical Storm Lee came through in 2011:

The location is along Hunter Village Drive and Old Keene Mill Road.
