Cox Cable and problems

I believe that COX Cable has screwed people with connectivity who are still using Windows XP. Just started last week or so. They will never admit it.
The support from Network Support is one big joke.
Windows Xp has worked on there network perfectly for the past 3 years without a glitch and now this.

The ISP (Cox) does not care what OS you are running.

They really do not even see the OS unless you are attempting to run some Cox bloatware.

Ah, good old Super TV. Loved that one.

I was a kid and purchased a Super TV antennas and receiver kit for like $25. Used a 1 lb coffee can and mounted the circuit board on the rear of the coffee can, put the can inside a piece of large PVC pipe and there was a long threaded rod with spacers and washers to make a Yagi antenna. I installed this on the roof and had Super TV for free for about 5 years.

My parents never had cable TV, still don't and so in the 70's this was my entertainment!

HBO for free on the 12" color tube TV. Those were the days!

I run Windows 7 and things became really slow .. but it's wasn't my OS, the slowness and being interrupted and having to reset the Router because all devices in our home were slow as well.

Still happening every once in a while, but it DID start about a week to 10 days ago.

I am running Windows 3.1 and I am having a real problem connecting to AOL through my 28,000 bps dial up connection. Anybody have any ideas what the problem can be? All I hear are a bunch of chirps and staic sounds and then a long beep. Then nothing. I can't access Alta Vista or even my Prodigy service!

Someone please help!

I called my local BBS using acoustic cups attached to my 300 baud modem with my Model III, running TRSDOS but I think the line is disconnected. Before I call for support I will check to see if I need to use a parity bit.
