Martha Stewart bought out Emeril Lagasse to get out from under her Walmart sweat shop investigation.
I think you will find that the statue of limitations has expired and she now has several brands that she bought that have been sitting still waiting for her to re-invest in.
I believe that Emeril just got another huge payout so that Martha could take those pictures.

if she owns products being made, why would she need to invest in them?
she was in a scandal that was not clear to the public whether her lawyer/investor was the culprit and whether she infact knew he acted on insider information
however the courts found her guilty of "being in the know", and she did serve a stay in a prison for women (NO BARS), if i remember
