WASHINGTON - D.C. was ranked the worst run city in the United States, according to a recently published study.
WalletHub said after factoring the quality of city services and the city’s total budget per capita, Washington ranked last out of 150 cities.
Rounding out the top five for worst run cities was Detroit, New York, San Francisco and Cleveland.
D.C. was tied with five other cities for the highest long-term debt outstanding per capita and had the fourth lowest high-school graduation rate, according to WalletHub.

While it is still a government of a bloated bureaucracy that wants to become the parents of far too many absentee parents, they are able to deliver basic services, fill pot holes, pick up the trash and plow the streets the one or two times that this service is required each year. The only problem is that these services come with a price tag that is much too big for the typical taxpayer.
