Can you pass emissions with a aftermarket header?

I want to get a cat-less header and a tune to pick up a few more HP. Everything else will be stock so there will still be cats on the car. There will be no CEL since the tune will clear that. From reading online it looks like I should be fine due to the other cats, but I would be SOL if they did a visual inspection.

Anyone with cat-less headers out there?

I had headers on my car and it passed inspection. I still had 2 cats farther back.

My car doesn't have cats. I had headers for a while, but I took them off. My car is exempt from emissions.

Good to know thanks. Sounds like most stations don't bother to visually check. I could use the rapidpass as a backup as well.

Get a post office box in Warrenton and register it as your home adress. No emission inspections are required in Fauquier.

Does your lawn mower have the push bar handle on the back? Makes it easier for people to push it off the middle of 66 when it breaks the fuck down.

It should pass, it's only removing 1 of 3 cats, still have 2 behind the header.
