Fairfax Connector Real Time Bus Tracker (sort of)

Wonder how soon your commuter or other Fairfax Connector bus will show up. Believe this is still in beta mode since no announcement yet from FCDOT. Only works through text messaging right know AFAIK, as not found a smartphone app for it yet. Tried this yesterday on a couple of buses, actually works pretty well.
Text to 41411 the following text - FFX followed by a space followed by 4-digit bus stop number. These instructions are posted at Fairfax Connector bus stops with the 4-digit bus stop number. Type R (refresh) if want further updates. You will receive a message with a real-time estimate of how many minutes it will be before the next bus with route number and destination will arrive at your bus stop location. Of course, this can change by a little if the bus gets stopped at a traffic light, etc. at the last minute.
Want to know what your 4-digit bus stop number is before going to the bus stop (want to stay out of the weather, perhaps see if can get a few extra minutes with that cup of coffee, etc.). Here is a little complicated for now, but only have to do one time for each stop (looking forward to the app to avoid this work).
* Go to http://transitfeeds.com/p/fairfax-connector/295/latest/routes or can Google Fairfax Connector transit feeds.
* Once at the URL/web page, select your route number from the list and click the Details button beside it.
* Click and select the date you want to travel from the calendar.
* Click Details beside the bus run you are planning to use, or if unsure, select any one from the list as bottom line results will be the same.
* Hover over OR click the link from the list of bus stops for the routes where you will be boarding the bus. The URL that will be provided http://transitfeeds.com/p/fairfax-connector/295/latest/stop/#### where #### is your 4-digit bus stop number.
* Write down and note in the phone/smartphone the four digit # for that stop so you do not have to repeat those instructions for that stop.

Those who want an express rush hour alternative on I95/I395, I495, I66, and Dulles Toll Road/Greenway who rather not deal with driving in heavy traffic or with the worse unpredictable Metrorail.
