“On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s ‘The Last Word,’ anchor Lawrence O’Donnell stated that ‘if Vladimir Putin masterminded the last week in Syria, he has gotten everything he could have asked for.’ O’Donnell then floated a theory that Putin told Syria’s Bashar al-Assad to launch a small chemical attack that was big enough to attract media attention and prompt President Trump into launching a missile strike, which would then change the subject from Russian influence.

O’Donnell said, ‘[W]ouldn’t it be nice if it was just completely, totally, absolutely impossible to suspect that Vladimir Putin orchestrated what happened in Syria this week so that his friend in the White House could have a big night, with missiles, and all of the praise he’s picked up over the last 24 hours? Wouldn’t it be so nice if you couldn’t even in your wildest dreams imagine a scenario like that?’

“He added, ‘I don’t know what it is. Is it a 2% chance? Is it a 50% chance? Is — I don’t know. But what — I don’t think it’s a 0% chance, and it used to be, with every other president prior to Donald Trump.’”

And the MSM wonders why they are losing every demographic out there because they can not seem to just tell the truth. Journalism once was "Who, What, When, Where" and if Why was available with facts, report it- with credible backup for each piece- now they just throw something against the wall and see if it sticks- truth doesn't matter, sources don't matter- just be first with the BS. Actual journalism in America is well and truly dead.

It has now been incontrovertiby proven that the demorat Rice-A-Roni spys had been eavesdropping on Trump, and his whole family for a year prior to the election, and yet they STILL have not one scintilla of evidence that Trump colluded with the Ruskies. Does anyone, and I mean anyone, think that Rice'e Raiders would not have reveald everything that they had to every left wing socialist news outlet in this country, including The New York Slimes,The Washington Compost, The Clinton News Network, Rachel Madcow, and Ibought a Brown Lemon?

Maybe Trump was hiding the chemical weapons under his casino in Atlantic City, and made a deal with space aliens orbiting the Earth to ship the weapons to Syria and use mind control to get Assad to use them.

Then Trump sent Bigfoot over to Moscow to convince Putin the feign outrage over the whole thing. Makes sense, right?

And MSNBC still wants to be taken seriously as journalism, eh? I think we'd do better with the Marx Brothers as newscasters.

Since it did not happen, it could not have been "incontrovertiby" proven. You clearly do not understand what unmasking means and the protocols associated with it.

As for what evidence "they" have, one member of the HIC has already stated that he expects that members of the Trump team will go to jail. It means a bit more when a member of the House says this publicly than when some internet troll says that there is no evidence.

We have a president who lies incessantly. If you cannot handle hearing it, that is your problem. But don't expect the members of the media to lie just so you can be more comfortable.
