Yeah.... soo does anyone know if she was canned? I really don't want to sit through her story while trying to enjoy my Anita famous one morning.

Not surprising that the media had no follow-up story on this. I'd like to hear the attorney's side, in depth, and put it to Mark Herring and the rest for their fervent reaction. Then maybe go back to Anita's with a camera to get their views now. Dicks.

After a "painstaking investigation", the racist note was determined to be authentic, so all charges against the waitress have been dropped. Speaking of thee alleged false report, “The original charges cannot be sustained, and prosecution on those charges is untenable", prosecutors said. Prosecutors obtained four translations of the note “to make sure we got the verbiage correct". The reported faking of the note fueled controversy in the county over waitress safety and discrimination. A Black Lives Matter spokesperson on national television decried the idea that a black waitress would fake a note, "Black Lives Matter, even if you work as a waitress at an Anita's" he said. He bristled at the term "server", remarking, "I had hoped in this day and age we would have moved past the racist term 'server'. Daniel Hebda, of the law firm Simms Showers will continue to represent the racist couple who left the note. The couple will now face charges of hate speech, a misdemeanor with jail time of up to one year. A request for comment from Thomas Tellez, the owner of Anita’s, has not yet been answered. Leaving the Ashburn restaurant after her shift, the waitress reportedly said, "Those fucking honkies are going to learn that you can't be sayin' racist shit, and it's going to cost them a lot more than that fucking penny they left me. Those goddamn crackers are going to fuckin' pay."
