We will make a determination tomorrow morning at 4:00 AM. At that time, we will consult with FCPS meteorologists and senior administration officials to make the final decision.

snowflakes in charge of schools are torn...they like snowflake indoctrination but that conflicts with their fear of uncontrolled knowledge or truth that might sneak through the programming and nip their snowflakes in the bud

Thank you for your concerns regarding our meteorological staff. We keep a staff of three certified meteorologists to help us make determinations on school delays and closings ahead of time. We try to avoid situations where our students and faculty go to our facilities and then have to return home in inclement weather.

I think you guys have done a perfect job of keeping us safe. As a student, I'm very concerned about the high winds affecting high profile vehicles like school buses and student drivers with SUV's. Cancellation of school sounds like the best decision here.
